The Catto Shaw Foundation does not consider:

  • Unsolicited grant requests

  • Conference sponsorship

  • Museums

  • Newly established non-profit organizations that duplicate existing services

  • Building or capital campaigns

  • Projects that exclusively serve religious purposes

  • Any organization without a 501c3 designation or direct donations to individuals

For our Grantees

General

  • Due to a high volume of emails, please route all Foundation communication to our Grant Officer, Nor Christenson, not to Isa and Daniel's personal emails (including newsletters.) This ensures that someone will get back to you promptly.

  • Isa and Daniel are not taking meetings this year.

  • We do not participate in end-of-year giving drives.

  • Email us here.

Grant Reports

  • The Catto Shaw Foundation requires a grant report.

  • Be creative. Past reports include a storybook, videos, photos or drawings.

  • Creative grant reports from 2024 recipients are due February 1, 2025.

  • If you do not submit a report, you will forfeit future CSF funding.

  • If you have questions about what “creative” means, please email our Foundation Grant Officer, Eleanor Christenson.
